A bit about me.

Zara Drousas is a London-based photographer. Raised in Australia with Greek roots, she's spent her life moving between worlds.

It started with Destiny's Child. They were her first ever concert, and something about that show; the energy, the light, the way they owned every inch of the stage, never left her. Zara is self-taught and shaped by the musical influences of her Greek roots and the western R&B and pop videos that defined the 2000s and 2010s, she didn't learn photography in a classroom. She learned it by carefully analysing each frame, understanding what made them work, and eventually stepping into rooms and recreating that feeling herself.

That influence still runs through her photography today. Zara shoots with a belief that every subject has an undeniable version of themselves, and her job is to find it. Across stages, studios, and cities worldwide, she produces images of people at their most powerful.
